About Rhinehart Guitars
Darin Rhinehart
After joining the United States Air Force at the age of 17 years old, Darin
Rhinehart pursued a career as a licensed aircraft technician. He then went on to acquire an
FAA Airframe and powerplant license. As Chief Inspector of a first in the country
helicopter service center and heliport at a young age he continued his career as an
aircraft technician. A life long guitar enthusiast, Darin began buying and selling
guitars. Applying his background as a skilled technician and craftsman he became a
luthier by default. Darin surrounded himself with a great team of like minded musicians,
craftsmen, and an engineering staff to create precisionly crafted electric guitars. I would
like to thank my wife, family, and friends for all of their support.
George Barnes
George Barnes came from the Aviation industry where he was a composite
technician for 17 years with United Airlines. He started a manufacturing company called Mid
America Manufacturing Solutions, LLC in April of 2009 and was working on a conceptual guitar
using carbon fiber when he and Darin struck upon the idea of starting Rhinehart Guitars.
George has been a gigging guitar player for the last 20 years and has always played
Stratocasters. The passion to build guitars has always been associated with growing up around
tremendous guitar players in his hometown of Dover, Ohio. Thank you Mr. Lambros and Mr.
Tsantis for turning me on to the mojo hand, you know who you are.
